Otaku Fest 2009 part 1

Here's another delayed posting... I've really been busy nowadays and just had some time to have this blog updated. I guess you've seen the part where we were trying to have a group build for one huge diorama to be presented on an upcoming event, that is- The Otaku Fest 2009 help at the UP grounds, Cebu. This served to be the first public appearance representing the Gunpla Addiction group which allows us to share our interests or hobbies with the people, in the same time grow bigger as a community.

But the displays aren't all there is on the event, it was majorly a cosplay event and before I show to you the pictures of the group, here are some pics to enjoy on some cosplayers... =P

Group Build- Gundam Diorama Project

Hi guys!! I've really been busy so as to not being able to post the up to date events... Anyways, this happened last quarter of 2009 when we prepared for our first public appearance- to represent Gunpla Addiction. Gundam Addiction is a small community we have at Istorya.net for Gundam enthusiasts. There we discuss anything about Gundam- from its anime to its merchandise, and as well building kits. The group then decided to take part of an event where we can show our hobbies to anyone who might have interest in it- and in the same way to let the community grow... and here's some of the pictures taken when we prepared for the upcoming event- Otaku Fest 2009.

Anyways, the pictures shows the diorama at around 80% completion since I wasn't able to the sessions earlier and I forgot to take pictures during my first appearance on the groupbuild.. Hehe =P

Still thinking as to how to place these tanks...

So far, its just all tanks for now.. Haha. You might be wondering where are the gundams?? that is- still in progress.. waaah!! (Hehehe...)

So far , those were the few Gundams we used for battle damage purposes...

I really love the company of these guys- they're all fun to be with and we share on thing in common... We had our highschool life in the same school. Haha! (from top to bottom: ikawb, gilok, and setsuna)
